Editor's Note:
The recent demonstration of parental influence in Virginia over what is taught and not taught in public schools should give us all hope. As Stanley Kurtz explains, the woke movement in education largely began when activists drove History of Western Civilization courses out of most curricula. It started in universities, of course, and now has become the norm in K-12 education. Parents can change this, however, if they will embrace the challenge. It might be the only way to stop the decline of our country. Reprinted with permission. Pat Daugherty, Ed.D.
