Friend, in these times, it seems like too many politicians have forgotten our bill of rights entirely.
 

They've certainly forgotten the first two amendments! 
 

But I’m standing up to defend those rights because I know they are crucial to a free America.

There’s no doubt it’s a frightening time in our country.
 

That’s why I will never back down on this. 
 

I will not give an inch. 
 

I will defend our right to defend ourselves. 
 

Because if we diminish one iota the right to free speech, we risk not having the voice to defend the right to bear arms. And if we allow our 2nd Amendment to become a watered-down, second-tier "right," we risk not having the strength to defend speech.
 

There’s not a battle more important than this one.
