Friend,

This week, President Biden signed the bipartisan infrastructure package into law. It's hard to understate just how critical this bill is for the people of Montana. Here are some of the provisions that would benefit our state:

- $2.8 billion for our roads, highways, and bridges
- $3.3 billion to reduce wildfire risk and increase firefighter salaries
- $100 million for the Milk River Project in Montana
- Billions for broadband to increase connectivity in rural states.

I'd like to give a special thank you to our own Senator Jon Tester who helped negotiate this legislation. That said, it's shameful that our other two federal officials staunchly opposed this. Both Senator Steve Daines and Representative Matt Rosendale tried to stop the infrastructure bill.

If our opponent Ryan Zinke were in office, we can only assume he'd also be a surefire vote against this bill. He's been totally silent on infrastructure. It's popular in Montana, but Zinke takes his marching orders from special interests in Washington who stand against it.

We need a leader in Congress who will put the politics aside and do what's right for the people of Montana. Ryan Zinke is not that person, but defeating him and his special interest allies means we'll need serious grassroots support.

Fundraising has ticked down a bit, and we need to pick up the pace in order to meet our $15,000 end-of-month goal. Can you chip in $3 to make sure we have the resources to win in Montana. We can’t risk falling short.
