"I said a year ago we're living through a battle for the soul of the nation. Now there can be no doubt ... so many of our fundamental rights, freedoms, and liberties - and the rule of law - are all at risk." – President Biden
President Biden said it best, John. This isn't just an election; it's a fight against far-right extremism. Across the country, extremists are doing everything they can to gain state power – including pushing harder than ever to flip New Mexico red.
During Gov. Lujan Grisham's reelection campaign launch, Trump supporters and QAnon conspiracy theorists tried to yell profanities to drown out the Governor's speech and threaten our grassroots supporters. And now, several Trump loyalists are running against her.
In this battle for the soul of our nation, it's up to us to make sure that New Mexico doesn't fall to far-right extremists. This is a critical moment, John: Gov. Lujan Grisham won't be able to fundraise from December through March, so she needs your help now more than ever to build resources and stop the GOP.
We need to raise $150,000 before the end of this month to fight back against far-right extremism and defend our state. If we don't meet this ambitious goal, Gov. Lujan Grisham could start off 2022 behind her Republican challengers, so she's counting on you now:
Will you donate $5 right now to help us meet our $150,000 goal and defend New Mexico from far-right extremists?

Thanks for all that you do to support this movement. Together, we have the power to overcome far-right extremism.
