John,
Today I voted to censure Republican Rep. Paul Gosar for inciting violence against President Biden and Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez. I’ve made it very clear where I stand: hate and violence will not be tolerated here in the halls of Congress or anywhere else in America.
When I was in business this type of violent threat against a colleague would have been an immediate dismissal. No questions asked. It’s wild to me that instead Kevin McCarthy defended Rep. Gosar and (almost) all Republicans voted against the censure.
Letting this extremism exist without rebuke is toxic to our democracy. And it’s catching on like wildfire. There are more QAnon candidates running for office than ever before. I ran against an extremist last year and we were able to beat him back. Whether we’re running against Devin Nunes or another extremist, we have to be even more ready this time.
I really do believe that the future of our country could depend on what happens right here in California’s 10th district next year, which is why we need to start preparing now. Can you rush in a donation right now to help us fight back against GOP extremism and keep this seat blue?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Thanks,
Josh
