We need to hold conservative Dems to their word and pass the bill Indivisibles,
Conservative Democrats promised us they’d vote to pass the Build Back Better Act this week, and we’re expecting debate to start tomorrow with a vote as soon as Friday. So we have just a handful of days to hold them to their word.
The Build Back Better Act is crucial to unlocking gains from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework, taking strong action on climate change, expanding access to affordable health care and child care, and more. That’s why we’re so focused this week on ensuring it passes.
We don’t have much time left to influence the outcome, so we need you to do two things:
- First, call your member of Congress and demand they vote yes on the Build Back Better Act. This is especially important if you have one of the six Democratic members who held this whole thing up in the first place -- Reps. Ed Case (HI-01), Stephanie Murphy (FL-07), Kathleen Rice (NY-04), Kurt Schrader (OR-05), Jared Golden (ME-02), and Josh Gottheimer (NJ-05). But no matter who represents you, they need to hear from you right now that this reconciliation bill is crucial to their constituents.
- Then, click here to donate $10 to fund all the tools and all the work it’ll take to win Build Back Better and move on to even more progressive policy fights. Pressure from the people is how we win, and we do that by hosting websites and call tools, placing ads, and working directly with activists in key districts to keep the pressure up. It’s funding from people like you that keeps all that work running. We’re a little behind our budget plan for the month, so we’re really counting on you to get us back on track.

We’re so close to the finish line on this months-long recovery fight. And once we’ve finished, we’re jumping straight back into democracy reform to ensure we can fix our government before the Democratic trifecta slips away. The Indivisible movement has worked hard over the last year to win some really transformative policies, and now’s the moment we can make it count. Thanks for doing your part to make it all happen.
In solidarity, Indivisible Team
