John,
I’m proud to run a grassroots, people-powered campaign. As the only candidate in this race raised in the district, it means the world to me to know I have the support of folks right here in our community. I don’t rely on megadonors, and I’ve taken a pledge not to accept a dime of corporate PAC money. That’s because I believe that when I am serving as Nebraska’s first Black Congresswoman, I should be accountable only to the folks of my district — not to private special interest groups.
Can you ensure I have the resources to run a successful campaign by chipping in our average online contribution of $21.23 right away?

I’m an everyday person: I was raised on social programs here in the district, I was the first person in my family to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree, and I don’t have a network of wealthy contacts who can fund my campaign. I rely on grassroots supporters like you who believe, like I do, that Nebraska deserves better from our member of Congress. I’m asking you to match our average online contribution of $21.23 right away so that our campaign is equipped to take on whatever challenges come our way.
