For far too long, the U.S. industrial animal agriculture system has harmed farmers, workers, and communities and polluted our nation’s waterways with pathogens, excess nutrients, and harmful algal blooms. Advocating Against Hydropower

As negotiators convened at COP26 to discuss emissions cuts and financing mechanisms, Waterkeeper Alliance joined 340 organizations from 78 countries in demanding that hydropower be excluded from UN climate finance mechanisms, citing dams’ grave human rights and climate impacts.

Despite promises, President Biden’s Department of Interior placed more than 80 million acres of the Gulf on the auction block for oil and gas development.

New EPA Emission Rules
