$10 a day child care in Alberta

This week, Justin Trudeau announced an agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of Alberta that will make $10 a day child care a reality for Alberta families.

Our 2021 Liberal platform lays out a real and concrete plan to make child care affordable and accessible for all Canadian families.

There are now agreements with 9 provinces and territories across the country to support affordable and accessible child care so that every child can have the best possible start to life.

Accelerating climate action and ambition at #COP26

Last week, Justin Trudeau and other leaders with our Liberal government returned from the COP26 conference after sharing and building on our international commitments to fight climate change.

Our Liberal team announced that Canada will reduce methane gas emissions by at least 75% by 2030, help countries transition from coal fired electricity to clean power as soon as possible, and help the most vulnerable countries adapt to the climate crisis. This is our time to step up and take even bolder action to fight climate change.

Remembering our Veterans

On November 11th, Canadians came together to remember the brave men and women in uniform who made tremendous sacrifices in service to our country and our freedoms, and we honoured those who continue to serve today.

Parliament returns on November 22nd
