John, Ritchie was JUST on MSNBC talking about the Build Back Better Act.
Here’s what he said:
Decades ago, the Cross Bronx Expressway became one of the hundreds of highways in our country that severed Black and Brown neighborhoods.
The effects of this have been felt by the South Bronx for years, John.
✖️ Thousands of families have been displaced from their homes.
✖️ The environment has been degraded beyond recognition.
✖️ Diesel trucks pollute the air our families breathe, such that the South Bronx has the highest rates of asthma hospitalization in the entire country.
The Build Back Better Act would create the funds to rectify this decades-long abscess on not just the South Bronx, but communities across the country.
Our nation deserves this investment, John — so we’re collecting signatures from all over the country to tell Congress to step up.
You’ve been selected as one of three representatives from xxxxxx, so we really need your signature. Will support Joe Biden’s cornerstone policy and add your name before midnight?
Thank you,
Team Ritchie
