John,

A recent article in Politico caught our eye: GOP lobbyists say corporate
America is coming back into the tent.

Following the election in Virginia earlier this month, corporations have
been especially interested in strengthening their relationships with
Republicans in Congress (aka giving them money and telling them what they
want in return).

Basically, corporations think it’s a safe enough bet that Republicans will
win the House majority. So they’re making investments now to help
Republicans secure the win, and then they plan to lobby for policies that
will line the pockets of the ultra-wealthy and their own corporations.

As the article says: For those on K Street, corporate PAC donations serve
as a key tool for access and favors.

Katie doesn’t take a dime of corporate PAC money. She’s fighting for
working people and holding those in power accountable. But to keep her in
Congress, we need to raise funds to compete with the inevitable attack ads
that corporate funded PACs will run against Katie. [ [link removed] ]Donate today.
