John, I’m coming to you directly because this is a seriously dangerous bill.

Instead of helping us combat gun violence and enforce our laws, the Republican legislature passed a bill to allow people to carry a concealed gun without a permit.

Millions of Pennsylvanians have already gone through the proper process to get a permit to carry. This bill would completely undermine that and make Pennsylvanians less safe, plain and simple.

We’re going to stop this bill from ever becoming law — but only because we have a Democratic Governor holding the veto pen. That’s why we have to keep it.

If a Republican Governor is elected in 2022, this dangerous bill could become law.

A Republican Governor would sign permitless concealed carry and put our children at risk, make our communities less secure, and undermine public safety. Pennsylvanians deserve a better, safer future than that.

Pennsylvanians deserve safe communities, protected by law enforcement and common sense gun laws. The opposite of the bill Republicans just passed.

The only reason this bill won’t become law right now in 2021 is because of our Democratic Governor’s veto pen. We can’t afford to lose it.
