John,
Just this week, President Biden signed into law a once-in-a-generation investment into our nation’s infrastructure.
After years of empty promises, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal will help fix California’s — and the nation’s — roads and bridges, expand access to high speed internet, protect our state from rising water, and invest in our sustainable future through cutting emissions in buildings, transportation (including electric vehicle infrastructure), agriculture and more.
This bill’s passage is a major victory for our community and our nation.
Now, I want to hear from you: What piece of the infrastructure bill is most important to you? By the end of the week, I want to hear from 400 of my top supporters →

California has been rated as having some of the worst roads and bridges in the country, leading to unsafe conditions on the road. With this investment into our infrastructure, we can finally fix these problems and make our streets safer for drivers and pedestrians.
But this new law will do so much more than fix our roads — it is the initial investment in really making our infrastructure competitive on the global stage again after years of neglect.
The next step in our Build Back Better agenda is our social bill, which will improve aspects of our lives from health care to child care. With the average annual cost of child care in California for one infant $17,384, this bill is just as necessary as our infrastructure bill to ease the financial burden of families and help further our economy.
We are ready to keep delivering for the American people but first, I want to hear from you, John. What is the most important aspect of this agenda to you?
Thanks for your continued support.
Be well,
Ami
