AFSCME Family,

Good food. Visiting with family and friends. Cheering on your favorite football team. It’s what Thanksgiving is all about.

But this Thanksgiving, let’s also remember to give thanks for the solidarity that comes from being part of the AFSCME family. Because it’s our solidarity that gives us a leg up when it comes to wages. It’s our solidarity that protects us from employers who want to gobble up our rights. It’s thanks to our solidarity that we have a voice on the job.

And that’s just part of the menu. The list goes on: safety in the workplace, better health care, secure retirements and stronger communities. Life is better in a union.
