Leaf collection extended by one week

Final collection will begin Monday, Nov. 29 for all collection zones

The Village of Oswego will be extending the leaf collection one additional week for all collection zones. A third collection will begin for all zones the week of November 22 as scheduled. The Village's Public Works crews will begin a final pass through all zones the week of November 29.  Residents are asked to place all leaves at their curb by 7 a.m. on Monday, November 29.  Crews are currently working on Saturdays and overtime to pick up leaves as quickly as possible. 

Leaves are also beneficial for lawns, plant beds and around trees and shrubs as a more environmentally friendly approach to disposal. For complete details on the Village's leaf collection program, including the collection map zones, visit www.oswegoil.org/leaves [ [link removed] ].
