Testify for the 2022 Solidarity Budget

Thursday is the final Seattle City Council Budget Committee Meeting to offer testimony on the Solidarity Budget for 2022. Among the goals: defunding police and prison in order to restore budgets into community's hands, meet universal needs and support infrastructure, invest in a Seattle Green New Deal, Housing for All, expansion of mass transit, expansion of childcare programs, digital access and equity, and funding for Duwamish tribal programs.

In short, there's a material demand across almost our entire member-created platform and the many organizing fronts from the past two years. Read up then register to testify.

Here's how you testify:

Step 1) Register on the public comment page at 7:30 AM Thursday then
Step 2) Testify at the Seattle City Council Budget meeting at 9:30 AM on Thursday
