Thursday is the final Seattle City Council Budget Committee Meeting to offer testimony on the Solidarity Budget for 2022. Among the goals: defunding police and prison in order to restore budgets into community's hands, meet universal needs and support infrastructure, invest in a Seattle Green New Deal, Housing for All, expansion of mass transit, expansion of childcare programs, digital access and equity, and funding for Duwamish tribal programs.
