CSVANW is searching for contractors! Shifting Systems: New Mexico Indian Child Welfare Act Request for Proposals The mission of the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women (CSVANW) is to stop violence against Native women and children by advocating for social change in our communities. CSVANW takes ownership and responsibility for the future of Native women and children by providing support, education, and advocacy using our strengths, power and unity to create violence-free communities. The CSVANW will engage with Indigenous resource families, the New Mexico Tribal ICWA Consortium, and Tribal Leaders to conduct a combination of surveys, focus groups and listening sessions to strengthen an understanding of the recruitment and retention needs of Indigenous foster families when engaging with the Children Youth and Families Department (CYFD). Our goal in working with CYFD is to collect stories, through qualitative and quantitative methodologies, of current and former Indigenous licensed foster families to better determine the needs of future licensed Indigenous foster families. Proposals must be sent in by November 30, 2021. Bidders who are interested in submitting a proposal should inform Ryder Jiron at [email protected] no later than November 30th, 2021.
