The Democratic Governors Association (DGA) is considering cutting spending in Florida because they’re not optimistic about their chances. | After a humiliating defeat in Virginia and a razor-thin election in New Jersey, the DGA is having to choose where it spends money wisely. | Democrats are scared to spend money on a losing cause like trying to flip Florida. | As a result, the DGA is closely watching our fundraising reports as we close out 2021. We have to post HISTORIC numbers to scare them from spending money in Florida. | If we report low numbers, they will surely use that to their advantage and motivate their liberal donors in New York and California to put their resources right here in our state. | Now, we’ve worked enough campaigns to suspect a trap coming from the DGA. | The momentum is on our side, but the DGA could try to lure us into a sense of complacency only to fundraise more than us and catch us off guard, so we have to be ready for anything. | We have to report STRONG numbers to show the DGA we’re not taking anything for granted and are prepared to defend Republican leadership up and down the ballot in 2022. | You never know, we may just scare off the DGA for good. | PAID FOR BY THE REPUBLICAN PARTY OF FLORIDA.
