As it stands, federal law bans foreign nationals from financing our elections -- but it does not specifically address ballot initiatives.
That’s why recently, Jared co-sponsored bipartisan legislation to tighten campaign finance rules by extending the ban on foreign donations to cover state and local ballot initiatives. This is just part of Jared’s broader effort to address corruption in our government.
Do you support this bipartisan effort to prevent foreign nationals from influencing our democratic process?
