Dear John,

On Monday we launched the NIAC Community Artist Series. For the next month, we will spotlight two artists per week to showcase our appreciation for the singers, dancers, and musicians that are celebrating what it means to be Iranian-American through art. [[link removed]]

To Colorado-based Persian Classical dancer and instructor Delsie, dance is an expression. Delsie believes that when you have a platform, you have a responsibility to showcase authenticity and respect, and to honor the history behind the art. When choreographing, Delsie’s Iranian heritage is always at the forefront of her mind because of how integral music is to documenting Iranian history. Read all about Delsie and her philosophy of dance on our blog post. [[link removed]]

Delsie’s incredible performances bring a lot of joy to us here at NIAC - we hope you enjoy exploring her work!

Sincerely,
Donna Farvard
Organizing Director, NIAC
