Too many Americans have given up on a government they don’t believe can work -- and a lot of the reason why is the enormous influence special interests have over our elections. In fact, outside groups are already spending a record-breaking amount of money this election cycle.

• Throughout his career, outside groups have flooded his campaign with money. Of all congressional candidates, he was one of the biggest receivers of outside help in 2018.


• He has received over $1.6 MILLION from the finance, insurance, and real estate industries and has repeatedly voted in their interest over that of the people he represents. He’s supporting efforts to roll back Wall Street reforms, allow risky mortgage lending practices, and cut the corporate tax rate.


• He voted AGAINST the For the People Act -- the most comprehensive election reform and anti-corruption legislation in decades -- that aimed to reduce the influence of dark money and bring much needed transparency to our politics.
