The past few weeks have been intensely focused on infrastructure. Congress passed President Biden’s Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act -- which is great! This historic legislation will invest millions of dollars in rebuilding our crumbling infrastructure.

But the goal was to pass the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act alongside the Build Back Better Act -- and Republicans keep holding it back. Where the bipartisan infrastructure bill invests in our roads and bridges, Build Back Better would invest in people.

Our human infrastructure needs a serious boost, and Build Back Better would do just that by:

➡ Investing in high-quality child care and universal preschool

➡ Providing care to our older Americans and people with disabilities

➡ Expanding the Child Tax Credit

➡ Enforcing paid family leave

➡ Extending the Affordable Care Act’s Premium Tax Credits

➡ Establishing a hearing benefit for Medicare beneficiaries

➡ Investing in affordable housing and so much more

We need to let Congress know that we can’t rebuild without the Build Back Better Act. Terri is committed to passing this transformative legislation, and it’s up to us to let them know that we’re behind her 100%.
