Here in Rhode Island, our corrupt political establishment has left us behind at every turn. They take thousands from corporate PACs, corporate lobbyists, and the fossil fuel industry, then turn around and block climate legislation, slash taxes for the rich, underfund our schools, cut health care, and ignore our affordable housing crisis. Rhode Island’s top “Democratic” leaders have even been endorsed by the NRA and the far-right, anti-choice organization “Right to Life”!
That’s why I’m running for Governor of Rhode Island alongside Cynthia Mendes for Lieutenant Governor, and we’re running as part of a slate of 50 progressive candidates to win a government for the people of Rhode Island — one that will end corruption and pass a platform of racial, economic, and environmental justice. Because until progressives win governing power, our communities will continue to be left behind.

Our movement shattered and surpassed all expectations in Rhode Island politics when we won big in 2020. Cynthia defeated the powerful chair of the Senate Finance Committee in a shocking victory, and we beat the establishment in half the state Senate and state House races where we were running.
Now, we’re running to win governing power, so we can change the system from being rigged against us, to working for us, starting in Rhode Island. But when you’re running against the establishment, you face an uphill battle. We’re building a grassroots movement that has the power to change how progressives win in this country, and we could use your help.
