It was the moment that changed everything for the Obama campaign and, ultimately, for the country.

That same moment for Pete, and for America, is this Friday night.

When Pete takes that stage Friday night, he will confront the dangerous threat President Trump and his enablers pose to our country. He’ll demonstrate the leadership and character the Democratic Party needs to defeat Trump and Trumpism. As a Midwesterner and a veteran, Pete has the values, toughness, and experience to lead Democrats to victory. And he will do more. He will summon Americans to the common purpose of picking up the pieces and solving problems together -- beginning the first day after the Trump presidency ends.

This contest will decide what kind of leader we have on that day -- more of the same polarizing Washington politics or a new approach.
