CBS : Biden hails legislative victory on infrastructure in New Hampshire

Yesterday President Biden signed into law the bipartisan Infrastructure Investments and Jobs Act, a historic $1.2 trillion investment in the critical repairs and improvements we need for our nation's infrastructure.

Today President Biden joined Chris and the New Hampshire Delegation to talk about how this legislation will invest in our future. New Hampshire is President Biden's "First in the Nation" trip since signing the infrastructure bill.

New Hampshire will see significant benefits from this bipartisan legislation which includes $1.51 billion in funding for highway, bridge, and transit investment. We're proud of the provisions Chris fought to get in the final legislation including:

- Expansions in passenger and freight rail to help states fund rail projects.
- Development of a marketplace for toll credits.
- ​​$150 million to fully fund the Joint Long-Term Storage Act, Chris's bipartisan legislation to bolster our long-term renewable energy storage capabilities.
