We need your help, John.
In just 15 days, the Supreme Court will hear arguments regarding a challenge to a Mississippi law that bans almost all abortions after the 15th week of pregnancy.
Whatever is decided in this case will set a critical precedent for the future of abortion access throughout the entire country. We don’t say this lightly: We are at grave risk of losing our reproductive freedom completely. This high-stakes hearing is an urgent reminder why we must continue advocating to expand the Supreme Court and address the imbalance of opinions represented in our ultra-conservative court.
And that’s why today we’re sharing with you our plan to resist and raise up our voices for abortion justice when the Supreme Court begins hearing arguments for Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization.
Here’s the plan: On December 1 as a solidarity action with activists in Mississippi and all over the country, we will physically encircle the Supreme Court of the United States to visually and symbolically show that we are holding the line for abortion justice. We’re asking participants to wear green to symbolize our pro-abortion movement!
Our organizing team and coalition partners are working hard to put together this mobilization for December 1 so that we can safely and meaningfully show our solidarity in this fight for abortion justice.
It’s critical we join forces to rise up to the urgency of this moment and show the strength of our movement at the Supreme Court on December 1. There has never been a more crucial time for women and our allies to show up in support of our health care, our rights, and our freedoms.
In solidarity,
Women's March
