Thousands of parents and caregivers have been forced to leave the workforce during this pandemic when schools and daycares shut down. And many of these parents and guardians are still struggling to find high-quality, affordable care for their children.
Ayanna is dedicated to ensuring that every child and every family has access to high-quality education and care — because she knows that access to childcare breaks down systemic barriers to opportunity for working families and their kids.
The Build Back Better Act would invest in universal childcare, from daycare to pre-K, to ensure that all children get the quality care and education they deserve, and that parents who want to are able to get back to work.
