Yesterday, my team shared with you a recent article outlining our re-election campaign’s uphill battle against far-right forces -- despite my status as one of the most effective representatives in Congress, bringing back about six times as much investment to PA-08 as the average congressperson.

This just goes to show how divided our political system is, and how far we’ve come from the ideals of being a good faith representative of one’s community.

My two far-right opponents are raking in massive amounts of money -- Bognet brought in over $200,000 in two weeks -- because they’re appealing to the kind of mega-donors who put extreme ideology before what’s best for the people of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

We need to catch up, folks. The forecasters over at the Cook Political Report have said that they consider me an underdog in this race, and we can’t afford to lose this seat to the far-right. Can you chip in $8 to put us back on track?

I’ve told my team that in response to all this breaking news, we should raise $5,000 in small-dollar donations before the 18th and folks start traveling for the holidays.

This is just a drop in the bucket for what we’ll ultimately need to invest into this race to meet our opponents’ dollar for dollar, but it’s a start, especially as we enter the final stretch of 2021.

We’ve won challenging races before, and I know with supporters like you behind me, we can do it again. There’s too much on the line for us to not come out victorious in 2022.

Help my team and I hit this goal ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday week. Any amount will go a long way towards keeping my seat blue.
