John,
Los Angeles Daily News: Redistricting: LA County's lone GOP House member could face test if proposed maps become final.
First: Mike Garcia was elected to represent CA-25 in a special election.

Then: Christy Smith ran against him in 2020 and only lost by 333 votes.

Now: Mike Garcia is poised to lose the Republican stronghold in Simi Valley (home to Ronald Reagan) from CA-25 thanks to redistricting. Right now, the draft maps from the independent redistricting committee show the very voters who Mike relied on for his slight win are no longer a part of the district. Without them, he is poised to lose.

That is big news for CA-25 -- if these maps are finalized this district will look a lot bluer -- just as experts have been predicting. We know we have the momentum to win but we have to build the campaign to back it up, John.

We are a fighting force, one that's ready to make sure the people keep their power. We can't do it alone -- chip in $5 or whatever you can today and make sure we're able to build a campaign that can win.

Christy Smith is fighting for fair wages, prescription costs Americans can afford, reproductive rights, and so much more.

She is the representative CA-25 deserves to have.

And with these new maps, she will be the representative CA-25 gets, but we can't do it without you by our side. Chip in right now to ditch Mike Garcia and help us win.

Thank you so much for your support,

-- Team Christy
