Tomorrow, Bijan Ghaisar’s family and friends will commemorate the fourth anniversary of Bijan’s death at a candlelight vigil at the Lincoln Memorial at 6 PM ET. 

On November 17th, 2017, Bijan was shot at 10 times and killed by Police Officers Lucas Vinyard and Alejandro Amaya in his Jeep on the side of the road. 

A judge recently dismissed charges against the Officers and Virginia prosecutors are appealing that decision to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. 

In 2019, the Department of Justice declined to pursue criminal civil rights charges against the officers. The family and Virginia prosecutors have called on Attorney General Merrick Garland to reconsider that decision. 

We invite you to celebrate his life and demand justice for his murder.
