Hi John,
I've lived in the San Fernando Valley my whole life, and in that time, I've seen firsthand how inaction from Brad Sherman in Congress has left this district behind.
That's why I made my first contribution to Shervin back in April. He's made progressive, people-driven solutions for the San Fernando Valley the #1 priority for his campaign.
It's long past time for change, John. Will you join me in supporting a real voice for the people of CA-30 by making a grassroots contribution to Shervin Aazami today?

I want to include a story about why I believe so strongly in Shervin’s vision:
We may not know each other on a personal level, but I'll share with you something personal. Four years ago, I had lunch with someone close to me that I hadn't seen in years. I was a bit taken aback when I saw a bandage on her neck. At first, I thought maybe she accidentally cut herself in the kitchen. It was much worse than that.
It turns out she caught thyroid cancer.
She then told me that she'd have to get chemotherapy to treat it. That shook me. To think that someone who meant so much to me would have to take such a risk. It put me in a nervous panic for three weeks straight. I didn’t wanna lose her. She was like one of the moms I wish I had when I was a kid, and if she didn’t make it, I’d have beaten myself for not making more time to spend with her.
Thankfully, she did make it, and I was able to breathe a sigh of relief. But then it hit me; if we had a universal healthcare system in place that made it so that regular hospital trips didn’t cost absurd amounts of money, she would’ve been able to know about it much earlier and might not have had to undergo such a dangerous procedure just to deal with cancer.
And now with COVID-19, she has to be extra careful. Now I’m worried I might lose her again. Sadly, stories like this don’t seem to create a sense of urgency for politicians like Brad Sherman. He can talk a big game all he wants about taking care of people like my mom's, but behind closed doors, he still defers to rapacious, price-gouging, mafia-like middlemen who get between you and your doctor.
We deserve better. We can elect a real advocate for universal healthcare, and his name is Shervin Aazami.
He doesn’t just talk about having plans to help vulnerable people. He has actually fought for them, and if he gets into Congress, he’ll have a much bigger voice to fight for the people. He's not even in my district, but he’s also helped fight for us right next door! He may be running in CA-30, but he’ll be fighting for people he doesn’t even know like my moms. That’s why I’ve decided to also fight for people I don’t even know by supporting him in his run for office.

Thank you, John, for being a part of this movement. I have never settled for mediocrity as an acceptable standard and neither should you.
