If you have been watching Twitter the last few days, you have seen Senator Sanders keep up the pressure to tax the ultra wealthy in this country. It is one of his usual weekly messages and all was well until the richest man in history scrolled by it on his phone.

Senator Sanders clearly hit a nerve and Elon Musk tried (and failed) to clap back.

“I keep forgetting you’re still alive”

Elon Musk has some damn nerve!
- Elon built his empire with 4.9B subsidies from the government.
- In 2018 he paid ZERO in Taxes.
- He is engaged in a space race instead of helping address the issues of humanity right here on Mother Earth.
- Elon made more than $228B since the beginning of the pandemic while the working people of this country continue to suffer.

What Elon said is UNACCEPTABLE. Senator Bernard Sanders is very much alive - and so is the progressive movement!

One thing we know for sure, is that demanding the ultra wealthy pay their fair share is not only a popular sentiment but a necessary process to ensure that a bold agenda to lift the working people of this country is paid for.
