There's just a few days until our 50th anniversary celebration

on Thursday, Nov. 18, and we're so excited to gather with you
virtually to commemorate the SPLC's 50-year history of fighting
for racial and social justice.
With your help, we are making communities stronger and transforming
our nation into the kind of country where promises made during the
civil rights movement are finally kept, and all people can thrive.
And, we're one of the only institutions focusing on these issues
in the Deep South.

Exactly 50 years ago, the SPLC was founded to fight white supremacy
and eliminate hate wherever it's found. Today, we're
continuing that fight - guided by clearly defined values and a
renewed dedication to collaboration. This anniversary is a milestone
marking both our history of seeking justice and a future of exciting
opportunities and challenges.
We're committed to realizing that transformation by redoubling
our efforts to reduce white nationalism, decriminalize Black and Brown
people, protect our democracy and reduce poverty in the Deep South and
beyond.
