John,

Billions of bees are dying -- and it’s not hard to figure out why.

A single corn seed treated with widely used neonicotinoid pesticides has
enough poison to kill a quarter million bees.

For years, SumOfUs has been fighting for a total ban on these deadly
neonics, winning lawsuits and forcing governments to act. But every time
we win, Bayer-Monsanto and Co fight back tooth-and-nail to keep their
poison on the market.

Now we have a new plan that could change the game: buy up shares and fight
Bayer-Monsanto from the inside!

Once we raise enough, we’ll buy the shares, rally other shareholders, turn
up at their AGM, and file resolutions to ratchet up pressure on execs over
their bee-killing ways.

We know it works. Just last year a SumOfUs shareholder resolution forced
Apple to publish its first-ever human rights policy. Now it’s
Bayer-Monsanto’s turn. And whatever we raise in the next 24 will be
matched, doubling our impact!

Can you help buy a piece of Bayer-Monsanto and save the bees?

Bees are responsible for a third of the food that we eat. A billion jobs
depend on them!

The sad fact is the threat of extinction looms large thanks to neonics --
which is why we’ve spent years fighting for a total ban. We’ve had
incredible success, but Bayer-Monsanto and Co have endless resources, and
always find ways to keep their poisons on the market.

Now we can take them on from the inside. But for it to work we have to go
big.

SumOfUs has been so successful with our shareholding program that the US
stock regulator is actually changing its rules to try to shut us down. The
new rule means that anyone who wants to bring resolutions like the one we
used to beat Apple will need to hold thousands of dollars worth of shares.

These companies and regulators are doing all they can to silence everyone
but the richest shareholders. But if our community comes together to buy
stocks, they won’t be able to stop us. Can you help save the bees and hold
Bayer-Monsanto to account?

SumOfUs members like you have shown time and time again that you’ll step
up to protect the bees that are so vital to our food supplies and healthy
ecosystems. Now we have a new plan to take the fight straight to
Bayer-Monsanto. Let’s do it!

Thanks for all that you do,
Allison, Danny and the SumOfUs team
