Earlier this month, Democrats passed the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act — and I couldn’t be prouder to help enact the largest investment in America’s infrastructure in the history of our nation.

Now, we’ll see millions of new, good-paying jobs, improvements to our public transportation systems, and critical repairs to our roads and bridges. These investments will make a major difference in New York’s 17th Congressional District as folks commute to and from New York City.

But unfortunately, all of the hard work we’ve achieved could be undone if Republicans take back control of Congress in 2022.

Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell are incredibly smug about their chances to win back the House and Senate, and they’re counting down the days until they can take back Congress and fight for tax cuts for the top one percent.

Team, we cannot lose steam now. Our mid-month deadline expires at midnight, so can you rush a contribution to help us meet our goal? We need to stay on track to compete against the Republicans.

Our democracy is at stake, so we can’t let Republicans and the special interests that fund them win and chip away at our efforts to protect the American people.

We’ve shown what our movement is capable of before and I believe that we can have another successful campaign if we re-commit to this fight today.
