John — big news!,
Our campaign was featured in The Lily, a publication of The Washington Post focused on women and our stories.

I believe our stories are our power.
When I decided to run for Congress, I knew there would be people who would look down on me for my past work as a stripper. Don’t get me wrong — there are — but they’re outnumbered by the people who reach out to me, letting me know how proud and empowered they feel to see someone speaking without shame about their life experiences in public. Shedding the “chains of shame” isn’t easy, but to remove stigma in society we have to come forward as our authentic selves and own our truth.
When we make it to Congress, I will continue our fight to break every barrier and stigma that stands in the way of true progress for everyday people.
