We won't beat around the bush; what happened on Election Day earlier this month really put our race into perspective.

With Republican voter turnout surging right here on Long Island, it's clear we'll need to count on everyone's help to start building the grassroots infrastructure needed to flip this seat blue. Will you chip in $5 to build a winning campaign with Kara Hahn?

The good news, John, is Kara knows how to win tough races. She was one of few Democrats who were victorious in the face of the red wave earlier this month because she's a problem solver who doesn't let politics get in the way of driving progress.

Now our job is to get out and introduce everybody to the Kara that we all know, trust, and believe in. Because when they do know her, and her record of delivering for working people, we win.

John, we've always known this race would be tough. That to flip New York's 1st District is going to require buy-in from every single New Yorker who's tired of radical Republicans dictating the terms of our democracy.

Kara can win this seat, she's faced tough elections before and she's never lost. But if we're going to overcome and flip this seat, we need to count on you, John.
