John, It’s fine to disagree about policies, but trying to undermine free and fair elections is fundamentally unpatriotic behavior that must be rejected in the strongest way possible. Sadly, Wisconsin Republicans have decided to betray American values and disgrace our traditions by promoting Trump’s big lie, attempting to suppress as many votes as possible, and more. Now, Senator Ron Johnson has gone so far as to openly call for the partisan Republican legislature to take over federal elections in Wisconsin. If successful, they would have the ability to overturn the results of an election they don’t like, effectively taking away the power of Wisconsinites to self-govern. Rebecca Kleefisch and her special interest backers will do anything to win and lock in power, even take away our right to vote. That’s why it’s so important we don’t fall behind, and it’s why we need to raise $25,000 by Wednesday at midnight to make sure Tony has the resources to fight back.
