John,
Yesterday, Amy and I kicked off our campaign for governor.
This campaign is about the future of Texas — the Texas that Amy and I want
for our three kids. A Texas where our leaders unite us rather than divide
us, and are focused on protecting working families and keeping our
communities safe.
I’m running for governor because I believe Texas deserves better than the
failed leadership and divisive politics that we see today. I know that we
can crush Covid, fix our broken power grid, and guarantee that Texas has
the safest, healthiest, and most prosperous communities in the nation —
but only if we come together to push for something greater.

In my past work as an entrepreneur and small businessman, a member of the
El Paso City Council, a U.S. Representative, and the founder of a
grassroots voting rights organization, I learned that we’re able to do the
most good and get the most done when we take the time to listen and learn
from one another.
That’s why I’m on the road right now, traveling across the state to listen
and learn from the Texans that I hope to serve as this state’s next
governor. Texans know exactly what we need — better jobs, better schools,
expanded health care access, and safer, healthier communities. They just
need someone to take action.
John, as
governor, that's what I promise to do: Take action on the issues most
important to Texans and work with each and every one of you to get a lot
done together.
We’re building a campaign of, by, and for the people of Texas. [ [link removed] ]So, will
you take a moment to join our campaign to represent every single Texan?
We are doing something historic together. Thank you for being a part of
it.
