It’s that time of the year again: giving season has begun! It’s also that time of year when your inboxes and social media channels are flooded with organizational pleas for support—and we know ours is just one of them. We also recognize that we recently sent an appeal about the critical needs of World BEYOND War and you all responded in a way we’ve never seen before. You overwhelmed us with your generosity and commitment to the work we’re doing.

We wish we didn’t have to ever ask for help again. But the reality is that while we raised an incredible amount of money a few weeks ago and have a robust base of regular and recurring donors, this nest egg only keeps us going at our current level of work for a short time. We’re in this for the long haul and intend to expand globally. Did you hear that we just added new chapters in Quebec, India, Chile, and Afghanistan? And that we were just awarded the US Peace Prize? We must continue to raise money to expand our programs to abolish war. One way you can help is by supporting us on #GivingTuesday.
#GivingTuesday is just two weeks away and is a day dedicated to generosity and giving. It occurs the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. It’s a day to acknowledge the power of collective giving.

With your support, we can continue to offer free webinars, online courses, podcast interviews with activists from around the world, critical free resources and tools for activists and organizations across the globe, billboards to promote peace and decry the impacts of war, mentorship and educational tools for young peacebuilders from around the world with our Peace Education and Action for Impact program, campaign support for cities working across the US to divest from the war machine, and support and help for communities all over the world who are working to stop the building of or expansion of military bases that are ruining their sustainability.
If you’re a U.S. donor, your donations are tax-exempt to the full extent of the law. Giving for peace means giving less for the Pentagon.
