The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the all items consumer price index rose by 6.2% over the last 12 months.
This is the highest rate recorded since November 1990, and more than three times the Federal Reserveās target rate of 2%. Month-to-month consumer prices rose by 0.9% in October on a seasonally-adjusted basis. Thatās notably faster than the 0.4% increase measured in September ([link removed]) .

* Televisions increased 10.4%.

In the aftermath of the U.S. military withdrawal from Afghanistan and the Talibanās takeover, the Biden administration has been pursuing an āover-the-horizonā counterterrorism strategy relying on airpower rather than troops to prevent the rise of ISIS-Khorasan and the resurgence of al Qaeda.
Going forward, the U.S. is negotiating with Pakistan on a formal agreement to use Pakistani airspace for American aircraft flying to Afghanistan for over-the-horizon counterterrorism missions.
