How the General Assembly treated voters in Georgia is astonishing. It was a real one-two punch attacking voting rights.

First, they passed S.B. 202 earlier this year -- the voter suppression bill that I called an embodiment of the spirit and letter of the Jim Crow era.

Now today, state legislators in Georgia made the decision to lock in their ability to pass more unpopular laws -- like their undemocratic and objectively racist voter suppression law -- by passing gerrymandered state legislative maps.

These maps are headed to Governor Kemp’s office now and I have no doubt he will sign them. But that doesn’t mean the fight is over.

All On The Line is working to end gerrymandering and combat voter suppression. With less than one year until the 2022 elections, we’re trying to raise $36,500 by midnight tonight. Will you help us?

With the Freedom to Vote Act, we can repair some of the damage done by the 33 voter suppression laws that state legislators passed across the country in 2021. And with the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, we can restore protections that prevented states like Georgia from enacting racist laws that attempt to silence Black voters and discourage people of color from voting.

When he was running for office, Senator Warnock said: “We must restore our democracy and rebuild our institutions in a way that builds trust in our government and ensures that politicians have your best interests at heart.”

Passing comprehensive democracy reforms will change the trajectory of our country. We need Congress to take action now.

All On The Line has invested more than $1 million in advocating for these essential reforms and we are committed to persevering despite Republican obstruction. But we need the help of grassroots supporters like you.

Can you donate $33 -- or even $3.30 -- to help us end gerrymandering and combat the 33 voter suppression laws that Republicans in state legislatures passed this year?
