This is HUGE news, John. Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight just reported that Senator Joni Ernst is among five "especially vulnerable" senators up for re-election.

This comes after Ernst's net approval rating dropped 9 points -- the most among any other Republican senator -- and after we outraised Ernst last quarter.

The road to taking back the U.S. Senate runs through Iowa, so hitting our $50,000 end-of-month fundraising goal is absolutely critical. Rush a donation of $5 -- or whatever you can -- before we have to close the books on October to help us flip this seat, and the Senate, blue.
