John, we have some good news and bad news:
The bad news: we’re running a little bit behind on hitting our $34,781 fundraising goal for the month.
But here’s the good news: we did the math and if two people from xxxxxx chipped in right now, we’d get back on track to hitting our goal.
Since day one, Justice Democrats has been funded by grassroots donations from people who are dedicated to transforming the Democratic Party from the inside out to become the party that fights for its voters, not corporate donors. It is because of your support that Justice Democrats even exists.
We don’t take money from billionaires, or corporate special interests because we know that’s not the way to build a diverse working-class movement. The way to build this movement is from the ground up, with grassroots power from supporters just like you.
We’re in an existential fight for the soul of the Democratic Party. We’re up against corporate-backed incumbents who are spending big to hold onto their power.
Meeting our fundraising goal for the month of October would put us in a position of strength and allow us to compete with incumbents’ corporate contributions and elect more working class champions to Congress who will fight alongside Alexandria, Rashida, Ilhan, and Ayanna for bold, structural changes.
We can’t pass a Green New Deal, get Medicare for All, or cancel student debt without a movement of everyday people like you helping us make the party reflect our values.
Thank you for being a part of our movement for justice.
In Solidarity,
Alexandra Rojas
