John,

We hope your fall is off to a great start -- we're reaching out to follow through on our goal to keep everyone looped into the work on the ground. From events with local Democrats to meeting with the Girl Scouts, we've had a busy couple of weeks.

Here's what we've been up to:

Earlier this month, Christy got to organizing talking with the people of this district -- making sure they know how she'll represent them when she gets to Congress.

(@ChristySmithCA) on Twitter: “We talk a lot about what it means to effectively organize marginalized communities. The formula is simple though; show up, listen, stay engaged, be accountable, deliver. #CA25”

Then, Christy celebrated Karen Bass at her launch party to be the next Mayor of Los Angeles. If elected, she would be the first woman to hold the position, and Christy is always excited to celebrate strong women any chance she gets.

Celebrating the next, and first woman, Mayor of Los Angeles @KaresBassLA! Never underestimate a woman who started as an organizer!

Then, Christy could not miss an opportunity to chat with the Girl Scouts on the International Day of the Girl.

To young girls everywhere, you are our leaders of tomorrow. Follow your heart, be strong and spread kindness! The world needs you in this fight.

Christy has been busy out in the district making sure her message gets to those who need to hear it, but she needs you on her team to make sure we can continue to build a strong campaign.

John, with your help, Christy can continue to do what she does best: ensure that every voice can be supported. Please chip in $5 or whatever you can to Christy's campaign.

Together we can continue our fight to provide our fellow Americans with all the support they need!
