Folks, we’ve made history in Congress.

President Biden’s Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act is the largest investment in American infrastructure in nearly a century. It will create millions of jobs for Americans and repair our crumbling roads and bridges while expanding access to affordable high-speed internet.

I’m proud to have cast my vote for this historic legislation that will invest in the heart of Alabama.

Our state’s infrastructure has been crumbling for years. The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act will help us rebuild while providing 2 million jobs per year over the next decade. This bill will also help bring clean, safe drinking water to families across the state and improve healthy, sustainable transportation options.

This bill is only the beginning. If we want to make real progress for Alabama’s families and workers, we have to urge Congress to pass the Build Back Better Act that will invest even more into Alabama’s future.
