What we’re building is really incredible.
As I’ve led the charge in Congress to deliver for working people, families, and our communities, you’ve been right there with me every step of the way. We’ve only been able to mount our fight against corporate America because of grassroots support.
This is the week that we will pass popular progressive policies for the people — like universal pre-K, paid family and medical leave, Medicare expansion, action to address climate change, affordable housing, childcare, and much more. All because we’ve been in this together.
We must step back and acknowledge how hard we fought to be on the verge of a historic vote for the Build Back Better this week — which includes Medicare expansion, action on climate change, lower prescription drug costs, paid leave, child care, universal pre-K, and much more. We’ve been up against powerful interests — from Wall Street and Big Oil to Big Pharma — yet we’re still so close to raising corporate taxes, lowering costs for families, and delivering for the people.
Thousands of you have stepped up during this fight to chip in $10, $27, or whatever you could afford to help fuel our work for progressive change. Today, I’m hoping you’ll step up one more time during a big week.
