We’ve been chewing on something over in Homes For All’s Legal Infrastructure Committee: how can lawyers and tenant organizers have accountable, supportive, and powerful relationships with each other? 

So why not get together to chat it out?! That’s why, in partnership with the Movement Law Lab, we’re excited to invite you to ✨Lawyers & Organizers for Tenant Power✨ — an online event on Tuesday, November 30 3PM PST / 6PM EST (90 min) about how collaborations between lawyers and organized tenants can advance our housing movement goals.

Our discussion will include panelists speaking to their direct experiences in past campaigns. We will also have time to think together in breakout groups about how legal professionals can contribute to the organizing fight for housing justice and tenants rights. 

In the long run, we hope to build a community of people committed to supporting tenant organizing through imaginative lawyering. We welcome all tenant leaders, legal professionals, organizers, and allies to this event!
