Rhode Island's economic future relies on the quality of our infrastructure. That's why today I'm proud to release our plan [[link removed]] to create good-paying jobs rebuilding Rhode Island's infrastructure for the 21st century.

As your next Governor, I will transition Rhode Island to run entirely on clean energy, and make major investments in climate resiliency, to protect our state from rising sea levels and extreme weather.

We'll reimagine transit by investing in public transportation and continuing to improve our roads, bridges, and bike lanes. I will continue the progress we've made on school construction and expand broadband access. And we'll invest in our critical water infrastructure to foster healthy communities and promote our local and coastal economies.

One of my first acts as Treasurer was to develop new clean energy financing programs at the Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank. I'm proud to say these programs have invested over $140 million into clean energy and energy efficiency projects creating 2,000 jobs, reducing harmful emissions, and helping small businesses, nonprofits and municipalities save money on their energy bills.

As Governor, I will make the necessary investments to prioritize our infrastructure while creating jobs and improving our economy. It's time to get to work because Rhode Island can't afford to wait any longer to rebuild and reimagine our infrastructure.
