This is unacceptable, friend:

A recent study by EWG finds almost 42,000 potential sources of PFAS that could be polluting drinking and surface water across the U.S.

PFAS, also known as “forever chemicals,” are linked to suppressed immune function, reduced vaccine effectiveness and elevated risk of cancer. As if that weren’t enough, these chemicals do not break down and can be found in the blood of more than 99% of Americans today.

Because of these roughly 42,000 potential sources of contamination, EWG scientists estimate more than 200 million Americans could have PFAS-contaminated drinking water right now.

The federal government has known for years that PFAS are carcinogenic and remain in the bloodstream. Yet government agencies have done almost nothing to prevent the use of these chemicals. Just this year, the FDA failed to ban PFAS from food containers, opting just to remind manufacturers against unauthorized use instead. Outrageous!
